Britannica School offers thousands of up-to-date, curated and curriculum-relevant articles, images, videos, audio clips, primary sources, maps, research tools, recommended Web sites and three separate databases—Elementary, Middle or High.

Britannica - Merriam-Webster 3rd New Int'l Dictionary​​

Britannica - World Data Analyst​ - compare and customize data of the Nations of the World
E-library - Offers more than 200 full-text sources, including magazines, newspapers, books, television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures, and audio/video clips.
Encyclopedia Virginia - an online resource being published by the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities that explores the commerce, history, culture, arts, and sciences of the Commonwealth.

FindItVA​- Many cross-searchable Gale databases are available here.
Supports research with nearly a million biographical entries spanning history and geography.
GALE - Books and Authors

Searches according to author, title, series, awards and other criteria. Offers book reviews, recommendations, and author biographies. An "if you like" search connects readers to similar themes and genres.
Accesses thousands of full-text medical journals, magazines, newspapers, reference works, and multimedia.

Searches a collection of more than 1,000 newspapers from 1980 to 2010.
