About the Program

 

The Albemarle County Fine Arts Camps provide students from our region an opportunity to spend an extended period of time studying a field of art of their choice under the direction of highly qualified and engaging teachers. Culminating in a public performance or display at a local venue, middle and high school students can choose from jazz studies, creative writing, visual art, drama/playwriting, or music production.

The registration fee is $100 per student for Drama & Playwriting, Visual Arts, and Creative Writing Camps. The registration fee is $150 per student for Jazz Camp.  The Rock and Rap/Music Production Academy is COMPLETELY FREE!  Your spot is reserved when the online registration form is complete and your payment is received at the central office. Checks can be made payable to ACPS Fine Arts Camp and mailed to the ACPS Office of Instruction at 401 McIntire Road, Room 333, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Payment must be received within one week of the registration being filled out. Be sure to send it with Attention to the Fine Arts Coordinator
