WHAT:
Western Albemarle High School Student Art Sale & Reception

WHEN:
Art Sale will be held May 3 – June 1; Reception on May 13, 3 to 5 p.m.

WHERE:
Crozet Artisan Depot, 5791 Three Notch’d Road, Crozet

WHO:
About 15 visual arts and career and technical education (CTE) students from Western Albemarle High School will make their original artwork available for purchase at the Crozet Artisan Depot, May 3 – June 1. Art pieces will include clay, digital media, collage, photography, and other mediums.

HOW:
For many of the students, this will be their first time participating in a gallery sale event. Students will receive payment from the Depot for any artwork sold. In addition to the experience of selling their own work, these talented student artists will learn first-hand how small businesses operate, how to advertise art sale events, and how to most effectively price their pieces for sale.

The month-long art sale is open to the public. A reception will be held on Saturday, May 13, from 3 to 5 p.m.
