United Way Day of Caring 2012

United Way's Day of Caring came to 24 Albemarle County public schools this fall, resulting in a wide and diverse range of products and services for students across the county. A total of 79 separate projects will have been completed by the time the program concludes, everything from reading with children to maintenance and contracting improvements to the planting of gardens, the creation of a sundial and even the use of broken tile to create "paint by number" artwork for an elementary school cafeteria.
